Queen Creek residents/Queen Creek library
Just found out that people who live in Queen Creek but are Pinal County residents must pay for a Maricopa County Library District card, even though they have a branch in Queen Creek. At the moment the fee is $40/yr, but it goes up to $50/yr in September.

Volunteer Orientation Dates
Tara gave me the next few months' volunteer orientation dates here at the Downtown Library, if people ask:
- Wednesday, August 27, 4-6pm
- Wednesday, September 24, 4-6pm
- Wednesday, October 22, 4-6pm
- None in November or December
People should let her know if they plan to attend and may bring their application to the orientation or send it to her ahead of time.
